10 THINGS YOU GOTTA DO BEFORE YOU GET HITCHED!

Ahh, planning a wedding. Prepping to wed the one you love. What a wonderf - eh f*ck it. It's incredibly stressful, but we're giving you some pro tips to take out the stress and bring in the fun.

 1. DECIDE YOUR BUDGET

Unless you're Megan Markle marrying into the royal fam, you probably should think about a budget before you drop thousands and thousands on flowers you can't afford. Of course, if you have the funds, we say go all out. It's party time bitches!

 2. DEFINE YOUR STYLE/THEME

Do you want to transport your guests to a magical wonderland, or maybe you want everyone to show up clad in Star Wars gear? Whatever floats your boat - just decide before moving on.

3. SET YOUR PRIORITIES

You can rent a hot air balloon to whisk you and your newlywed away or have Madonna walk you down the aisle. If you're among the regular folks without a massive budget, sit down with your partner and make a priorities list before giving Madonna's agent a call. ( Please note having alpacas at your wedding counts as a priority! )

 4. MAKE AN EPIC GUEST LIST

Who's going to make the cut? Decide if you'd rather have a more intimate affair or if you're going for the wedding of the decade.

 5. CHOOSE A BADASS WEDDING PARTY

Decide if you want your bridal party to include only your closest girlfriends, or if you're going to get stuck asking annoying cousin Karen to be a bridesmaid because you were one of hers. It's best to know who's in the wedding party asap so you can get your sh*t together faster.

 6. TRY NOT TO STRESS THE F*CK OUT

This one is huge. We get it. Planning a wedding can be so hard, stressful, and annoying that you want to rip your partner's head off, but keep in mind that it's worth it. Keep your zen as much as possible, and chill out, dude.

7. BOOK YOUR VIP’S

Venue, photographer, videographer, florists etc! Don't wait for the last minute with this either, or you're going to be stuck with a photographer in a tracksuit and trainers bugging your guests to 'say cheese' every 5 minutes.

 8. SEND OUT YOUR SAVE THE DATES

Even if you're not the type of couple to do an over-the-top photo shoot with flowers on your head or in a random barn somewhere, you gotta let people know they have a wedding coming up so they can make arrangements.

9. BOOK AN OFFICIANT

Anyone call for an Elvis look-alike or the vicar of Dibley? Whether you want your BFF, a priest, or next-door neighbour to marry you, you have to book them.

Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride. Try not to forget that being engaged can actually be a blast. Plus, you get to try a bunch of different wedding cakes for free.
